“Super” Spaghetti Dinner A Success!
February 4, 2008 -- On Saturday, February 2, the youth group Ethan Allen Chapter of DeMolay Leaders of New Jersey, located in Ridgewood, held a “Super” Spaghetti Dinner, raising $900 to benefit the chapter’s activities including sports, education and community projects. The chapter is also preparing for a trip to New Orleans in March to compete in a national public speaking competition held by DeMolay. The football-themed event held on Super Bowl weekend took place at Fidelity Masonic Lodge #113 located at 99 South Maple Avenue in Ridgewood. John DeSosio, Chef-Extraordinare for the dinner, commented, “It was great to see so much encouragement from Masonic groups throughout Bergen County, as well as community support in the local area, for the Ethan Allen boys and their activities. These young men are developing the skills, capabilities and friendships that will last them into adulthood.” “Fidelity Lodge is such a great supporter of our group and the neighborhood,” said Chris G., leader of Ethan Allen Chapter. “We were lucky to have so many people helping to make the dinner a success, especially Mr. DeSosio and his family.”
